A bit from History …….
Rehabilitation and leadership development for young inmates was one of the most impacting project the founder of Believe In You delivered. It was supported by a team of like minders and made it possible. 
Social inclusion and reduced re-offending rate were the main goals. 15 young boys below 18 years from a correction centre in Sri Lanka and 25 youth offenders who were sentenced to serve over 10 years in prison from prison worked together in two different groups under two different work plans.  They were mentored towards correction. They were rehabilitated to find their weaknesses and correct them to build strength and opportunities to reach their positive targets through correction to self. Experiential learning methods were used to make them start Believing in themselves.
